The purpose is to show all awards in their rank of prestige and criteria for achieving them, in one place.

Non-Combat Awards may be given because of story arcs or as the results of evaluations

Combat Awards may only be given as a result of story arcs.

Non-Combat Starfleet Awards

1 United Federation of Planets Medal of Honor
  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • Action must be of personal bravery or self-sacrifice.
  • Must have incontestible proof of action.
  • ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award.

(May be a Combat Award also)

United Federation of Planets Medal of Honor
Special United Federation of Planets Council Peace Medal
  • Does not have to be a member of Starfleet.
  • Action is a personal example of fostering peace, co-operation, and mutual respect between divergent races.
  • Must submit incontestible proof of action to the UFP Council.
  • ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award.

(Is only a Non-Combat Award, for Diplomatic Missions)

United Federation of Planets Council Peace Medal
2 Star Cross
  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • Action must of extraordinary heroism in the presence of great danger and personal risk.

(May be a Combat award as well.)

  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • May be serving in any capacity.
  • Must show exceptionally meritorious service to the Federation in a duty of great responsibility.

  • Must be a 'military officer'. (Tactical / Security / Command branches only)
  • Must perform exceptionally meritorious service in a degree of great responsibility.

7 Silver Palm
  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • May be in any branch of Starfleet.
  • Must distinguish themselves by heroic or meritorious achievement or service.

(Is not a Combat award.)

  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • May be in any capacity at Starfleet.
  • Must distinguish themselves by outstanding achievement or meritorious service to the United Federation of Planets.

(Is not a Combat award.)

Special Starfleet Command Decoration for Valor
  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • May be serving in any capacity.
  • Must be of the rank of Lt. Commander or lower.
  • Must show outstanding professional achievement or leadership.

(May be a Combat award, also.)

Special Starfleet Surgeons Medal
  • Must be a member of Starfleet Medical.
  • Must rescues, or endeavors to rescue, any other person from exposure, shipwreck, or other peril of Space.
  • Must be within Federation controlled Space or Jurisdiction.
  • Either the rescuer or the rescuee must be a citizen of the Federation.
  • The rescue must have been made at the risk of the rescuer's own life, with evidence of extreme and heroic daring

Special Starfleet Silver Lifesaving Medal
  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • May be in any capacity at Starfleet.
  • Must rescues, or endeavors to rescue, any other person from exposure, shipwreck, or other peril of Space.
  • Must be within Federation controlled Space or Jurisdiction.
  • Either the rescuer or the rescuee must be a citizen of the Federation.

(Could either of these be also a combat award?)

Starfleet Silver Lifesaving Medal
Special Purple Heart
  • May be awarded to ANYONE serving Starfleet.
  • May be awarded posthumously, if died from wounds recieved in action.
  • Must be wounded or killed in action.

(Can be a Combat award.)

  • Must be a member of Starfleet.
  • Action must be at risk of life, in a combat situation.
  • Action must be military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force; or while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United Federation of Planets is not a belligerent party
  • Action must be of personal bravery or self-sacrifice.
  • Must have incontestible proof of action.
  • Must be displayed with a Combat Cluster.
  • ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award.
  • (May be a Non-Combat Award Also)
