Awards list

The purpose is to show all awards in their rank of prestige and criteria for achieving them, in one place.

Non-Combat Awards may be given because of story arcs or as the results of evaluations

Combat Awards may only be given as a result of story arcs.

Non-Combat Starfleet Awards

1	United Federation of Planets Medal of Honor	Must be a member of Starfleet. Action must be of personal bravery or self-sacrifice. Must have incontestible proof of action. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (May be a Combat Award also)
Special	United Federation of Planets Council Peace Medal	Does not have to be a member of Starfleet. Action is a personal example of fostering peace, co-operation, and mutual respect between divergent races. Must submit incontestible proof of action to the UFP Council. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Non-Combat Award, for Diplomatic Missions)
Special	Starfleet Command Picard Medal of Peace	Must be be a member of Starfleet. Awarded to a person who aided or was largely responsible for negotiating a peace settlement between factions. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Non-Combat Award, for Diplomatic Missions)
Special	Starfleet Command Cochrane Medal of Discovery	Must be be a member of Starfleet. Awarded to those making successful First Contact with a new species or discovering a new place of great scientific interest. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Non-Combat Award)
2	Star Cross	Must be a member of Starfleet. Action must of extraordinary heroism in the presence of great danger and personal risk. (May be a Combat award as well.)
4a	Starfleet Command Distinguished Service Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be serving in any capacity. Awarded to people who continually distinguish themselves through acts of bravery or ability in the course of their duties. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (May be a Combat award as well.)
4b	Distinguished Service Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be serving in any capacity. Must show exceptionally meritorious service to the Federation in a duty of great responsibility. (May be a Combat award as well.)
5	Legion of Honor	Must be a member of Starfleet. Must be a 'military officer'. (Tactical / Security / Command branches only) Must perform exceptionally meritorious service in a degree of great responsibility. (May be a Combat award as well.)
Special	Starfleet Recruiting Service Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be in any branch of Starfleet. Must have recruited the most new officers in a month. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is not a Combat award.)
8	Starfleet Command Meritorious Service Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be in any capacity at Starfleet. Must distinguish themselves by outstanding achievement or meritorious service to the United Federation of Planets. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is not a Combat award.)
Special	Starfleet Command Decoration for Valor	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be serving in any capacity. Must be of the rank of Lt. Commander or lower. Must show outstanding professional achievement or leadership. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (May be a Combat award, also.)
Special	Starfleet Surgeons Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet Medical. Must rescues, or endeavors to rescue, any other person from exposure, shipwreck, or other peril of Space. Must be within Federation controlled Space or Jurisdiction. Either the rescuer or the rescuee must be a citizen of the Federation. The rescue must have been made at the risk of the rescuer's own life, with evidence of extreme and heroic daring
Special	Starfleet Silver Lifesaving Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be in any capacity at Starfleet. Must rescues, or endeavors to rescue, any other person from exposure, shipwreck, or other peril of Space. Must be within Federation controlled Space or Jurisdiction. Either the rescuer or the rescuee must be a citizen of the Federation. (Could either of these be also a combat award?)
Special	Vulcan Order of Science	Does not have to be a member of Starfleet. Awarded to individuals in the fields of science and engineering who have made important contributions to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of the sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics and physics. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Non-Combat award.)
Special	Purple Heart	May be awarded to ANYONE serving Starfleet. May be awarded posthumously, if died from wounds recieved in action. Must be wounded or killed in action. (Can be a Combat award.)
Commendation	Starfleet Command Letter of Diplomatic Commendation	Must be a member of Starfleet. Awarded for notable state, public and political activities, as well as significant services in the areas of diplomacy, law and political science. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Non-Combat award.)
Commendation	Starfleet Command Letter of Commendation	Must be a member of Starfleet. Must commit acts of mertitorious service that do not warrant the honor of a medal. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Can be a Combat award.)
Commendation	Admiral's Letter of Commendation	Must be a member of Starfleet. Must commit acts of mertitorious service that do not warrant the honor of a medal. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Can be a Combat award.)
Commendation	Captain's Letter of Commendation	Must be a member of Starfleet. Must commit acts of mertitorious service that do not warrant the honor of a medal. (Can be a Combat award.)

Action must be military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force; or while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United Federation of Planets is not a belligerent party Action must be of personal bravery or self-sacrifice. Must have incontestible proof of action. Must be displayed with a Combat Cluster. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (May be a Non-Combat award as well.)
2	Star Cross with Combat Cluster	Must be a member of Starfleet. Action must of extraordinary heroism in the presence of great danger and personal risk. Must be displayed with a Combat Cluster. (May be a Non-Combat award as well.)
3	Medal of Valor	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be serving in any capacity. distinguished themselves by gallantry in action against an enemy of the United Federation of Planets, or while serving with friendly forces against an opposing armed enemy force. (Is only a Combat award.)
4a	Starfleet Command Distinguished Service Medal	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be serving in any capacity. Awarded to people who continually distinguish themselves through acts of bravery or ability in the course of their duties. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (May be a Non-Combat award as well.)
4b	Distinguished Service Medal with Combat Cluster	Must be a member of Starfleet. May be serving in any capacity. Must show exceptionally meritorious service to the Federation in a duty of great responsibility. Must be displayed with a Combat Cluster. (May be a Non-Combat award as well.)

Special	Starfleet Command Kirk Medal of Gallantry	Must be a member of Starfleet. Awarded to those who distinguish themselves by gallant heroism, against an enemy of the Federation not justifying one of the higher awards ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Combat award.)
6	Starfleet Command Commendation for Conspicuous Gallantry	Must be a member of Starfleet. Must distinguish themselves by heroism, outstanding achievement or meritorious service. Often is awarded for Life Saving, in place of the Silver Lifesaving Medal or the Starfleet Surgeons Medal. ST:EQ rule: Must have Game Managers permission to award. (Is only a Combat award)
