Family History

Wraiths home planet, Dakala, is a rogue planet and thus has no sun. Wraiths are hunted by visiting Eska hunting parties, limited to 4 days each year.

As a young Wraith, T'char was isolated and captured by an Eska hunting party. Occasionally the Eska hunters would take captive Wraiths back to their homeworld as living trophys, kept locked up and displayed as zoo animals. T'char escaped during an shuttle accident while being transfered to a new display location, and was eventually rescued by a Federation Away Team visiting the Eska.

T'char's parents, T'choor and T'challa, were a part of the Wraith family group designated by the 'T' prefix in written form. The prefix is the 'family name', representing a common thought/sound/impression shared by all family members. Each family group identifies it's members by a common thought/sound, which is unreproducable for non-telepathic species to date.

Education Background

T'char decided to serve in the Federation in gratitude for his rescue, and the assistance of the USS Enterprise in avoiding Eska hunters. He proceeded to attend Star Fleet Academy, and received advanced degrees in Xenopsychology, Interspecies Relations, and Humanoid Development.

Medical Profile

Keeps his quarters dark, except for visitors when it is kept dim, as Dakala has no sun.

Other

Physical characteristics can vary to fit the situation/encounter due to shapeshifter nature of Wraiths. However, T'char has assumed a standard or 'normal' recognizable form. T'char based this form on an mix of impressions from Councillors and Professors he studied under in order to attain the 'look' of a Councellor. A mild, empathic, approachable look. T'char can shapeshift form and gender as may be more appropriate for individual comfort/need/culture in session, negotiations, and missions.
