Planetary features

Located in the system's ecozone, Kappa Jua II is a temperate-climate planet of slightly larger proportions than Earth. The planet's gravity is consequently 1.17 g. The planet has a nitrogen-oxygen-krypton atmosphere compatible with humans and similar lifeforms with precautionary measures.

Some 70% of the planetary surface is covered with water. The land mass on the planet composes three large continents with a range of extensive archipelagos in between. The naturally occurring vegetation ranges from grass savanna to subtropical dry forests. Extensive signs of deforestation abound in the planetary equator, with tropical rainforest areas in artificial preservations.

Dominant Species

The planet is host to a humanoid population of roughly 4 billion. These humanoid inhabitants refer to themselves as the Hgrin, and the planet and system they live in as the Gchiria. A centralized planetary government exists, with its capital in the Northern Continent.

The humanoid population is accompanied by several millions of species of flora and fauna. The range of species is distinctly lower than in typical Class M planets.

Companions

The planet has 4 moons, of which two have settlements. It is also orbited by several artificial satellites and two inhabited space stations.
